Last Meeting School District Superintendent Susan Penrod
introduced Jeremy Catt, Assistant Principal at Pacific Ridge Elementary
School and the Elementary Student Council representatives: Oscar,
Gael, and Mikayla. They told the group about Responsibilities of the
Student Council, how to participate in the student council, Council
meetings and roles, projects and initiatives, and the impact and benefits
of Student Council. Mr. Catt concluded by saying, “The Student Council
is a platform for students to engage, lead, and create change. We
inspire all students to get involved and make a meaningful difference in
our school and beyond.”
